Green Kiwi
The Hayward Kiwi, which takes its name from the nurseryman Wright Hayward, was born in 1920; it is the most popular cultivar in the world because it offers the best agronomic, commercial, nutritional, and cold-storage parameters relative to other market varieties.
Italy ranks among the leading producing countries, second only to China in terms of volume. Colline del Giglio Soc. Agr. A RL is located in the heart of the Agro Pontino, the most important production area in terms of kiwi quality and quantity.
In 2004, the Hayward Kiwi grown in defined geographical areas of the Agro Pontino earned the prestigious IGP Kiwi Latina brand, recognition of the most restrictive quality certification on the matter, which guarantees the authenticity and quality of the fruit. Colline del Giglio Soc. Agr. A RL, in its constant commitment to attention and adaptation to market developments, conducts specific study programmes, scientific and technological analysis, staff training and updating, with the aim of constantly improving agronomic techniques , preserving the environment, and keeping high-quality fruit production standards.

Hayward Kiwi is a natural supplement: an American study reveals that, for a given weight, it is the fruit with the highest nutritional density:
• Vitamin C: it has more of it than citrus fruits, helps us fix the iron contained in food, and strengthens our immune system
• Potassium: regulates neuromuscular excitability, heart rhythm, osmotic pressure and water retention
• Magnesium: it is supplied by the chlorophyll molecules which abound in the Kiwi Hayward, classic green pigmentation, useful for fighting tiredness and fatigue
• Folic acid: essential for the synthesis of DNA and proteins, particularly important for women during pregnancy
• Actinidine: it is the only fruit in the world that contains actinidine, a natural enzyme that facilitates the digestion of proteins
• Multivitamin: the Hayward Kiwi completes the spectrum of micronutrients and vitamins with the presence of vitamins B1, B2, B3, B9, vitamin K, vitamin A, calcium, iron and proteins
• Soluble and insoluble fibres: they help food transit in the intestinal tract
